Achievement Award

The Ace Honor Roll

A.C.E. stands for Achieving Christlike Excellence. It is Salem Jump Rope's highest honor for athletes who master skill levels, choose character, and become examples to others.

What is an Ace?

An ACE is a student-athlete who has mastered Salem Jump Rope skill and character development levels, demonstrated Christlike leadership in practice and mentorship, completed the Humility Project, and been recognized by the coaching staff for dedication, character, and excellence.

Our Foundation

The Salem Jump Rope Story

Salem Jump Rope grew from years of physical education teaching, school jump rope teams, driveway practice with family, and small community clubs. The program carries forward the belief that jump rope can shape confidence, character, leadership, and faith.

Coach Tiffany Carroll's journey began in 2008 after graduating from East Carolina University and learning from strong school and jump rope mentors. That foundation eventually led to COA SKIP ITS in 2024 and the launch of Salem Jump Rope in 2026.

Today, Salem Jump Rope is being built as a performance based team where students learn to work hard, serve others, mentor younger athletes, and leave a lasting impact.

Team Culture

Mentorship Program

Because mentorship matters: experienced athletes help younger teammates grow in skill, character, confidence, and belonging.

The Foundation of Our Culture

At Salem Jump Rope, some of the most valuable lessons learned through sports happen through relationships. Mentorship is a vital part of the team culture because it helps every athlete feel valued, supported, and known.

How It Works

Experienced team members who have been on the team for at least one year may have the opportunity to become mentors. Coaches evaluate students based on skill readiness, character, responsibility, and leadership before recommending them for this role.

Mentors are paired with younger teammates and provide one on one skill support, encouragement, and guidance at practices. Beyond jump rope, they model positive character and help create a welcoming team environment.

Who Can Become a Mentor?

  • Athletes who have been on the team at least one year
  • Recommended completion through Level 3 skills
  • Demonstrated character that reflects team values
  • Nominated and approved by the coaching staff
  • Committed to mentor training, accountability, and high standards of conduct

Mentorship in Action

Questions About Mentorship?

Grades 3-5 | Learn & Grow

Foundation years focus on skill development, coachability, teamwork, work ethic, confidence, and learning the value of being a mentee.

Grades 6-8 | Mentor & Lead

As athletes mature, they are equipped to invest in younger teammates, model Christlike leadership, and develop communication and servant leadership skills.

Grades 9-12 | Lead & Leave an Impact

High school athletes are challenged to become independent leaders, pursue the ACE Award, help lead practices and clinics, contribute to choreography, and strengthen the program for the next generation.

Team Access

This page is for team only items that should not be public.

Shared Team Login

A shared team username and password can be used, but the password should be set through the website host. It should not be built into the public page files.

The simple plan is to protect this Team Access page after the site is hosted. The team can use one shared login, and the password can be changed each season.

  • Practice schedules and session plans
  • Private skill and performance videos
  • Team announcements and updates
  • Internal forms and waivers
  • Team only skill resources and downloads

Best setup: one team username, one team password, and host level page protection. Do not post anything private until that protection is turned on.
